Randolph Soccer Club to Receive Free Soccer Balls and Donated Funds

Ledgewood, N.J. – September 29, 2005 – Young soccer players in Ledgewood will be knocking on BJ’s Wholesale Club’s door this month to accept their free soccer ball as part of Uniroyal Tire’s national soccer program.  Each player with the Randolph Soccer Club will receive a certificate for a free ball redeemable at the members service desk at BJ’s Wholesale Club (while supplies last).

In addition to free soccer balls for the children, Uniroyal and BJ’s Wholesale Club will make a cash donation to the Randolph Soccer Club for every Uniroyal^® tire sold ($2 per tire) to the general public starting October 1 to October 30.

The soccer ball features the signature of three-time Olympic Medalist and two-time World Cup Champion Julie Foudy, who has served as spokesperson for the Uniroyal Soccer Program for the past six years. The Uniroyal initiative has now netted more than $8 million in funds and equipment for youth soccer programs nationally.

Foudy is also the focus of a popular sweepstakes -- she will once again host a soccer clinic as the grand prize of the Second Annual Uniroyal Tire Julie Foudy Clinic Sweepstakes. Any parent (ages 18 and older) can go to www.uniroyal.com/sweeps until Oct. 31, 2005, to enter the sweepstakes for their child. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from one of soccer’s true legends will take place in the winner’s hometown.
