]]> http://www.randolphsoccer.org/home/527897.html Randolph Explosion Tryouts - U16G Summer Team & U17G Premier Team 05/17/2013 10:21 PM http://www.randolphsoccer.org/home/572400.html Tryouts for the Explosion 2013 U16G Summer Team, and the 2013 U17G Fall (after High School season)/2014 Spring Team. The Explosion play in the NJ MAPS Division.  They are currently the 10th ranked U16G team in the State of NJ according to Gotsoccer. They are looking to add several committed players to their existing team which is focused on major regional tournaments and College Showcases exposing their players to the highest level of soccer.

The tryouts will be held on Tuesday May 28, and Thursday May 30.  The tryouts will be held as open practices at Freedom Park.  The address is 640 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph.

The Randolph Soccer Club is pleased to announce that this Premier team will be run by Justin Renna, the club’s Director of Coaching; he will be handling all team communications, scheduling, training, and coaching.  Justin’s credentials are included below for your reference.  
 
The team’s soccer program will be as follows:
Fall

  • Curriculum based Training 2 X per week commencing in August (week of 8/19)
  • 3 tournaments (pre-season/Labor Day, Columbus Day, and late November)
  • JAGS league play
  • NJYSA State Cup
  • Season player evaluations
     

 Winter

  • Training indoors 1 X per week commencing in January
  • Indoor tournaments contingent on player availability

Spring

  • Curriculum Training 2 X per week commencing in March
  • 3 Tournaments (early March, Memorial Day, and early June)
  • JAGS league play
  • US Club NJ Cup
  • Season player evaluations

Summer
·         Team is off all of July to mid-August

The Randolph Soccer Club is holding try outs for the 2013 / 2014 season starting May 4 and continuing through the first two weeks of May. There are two try out dates for each age/gender group. Raindates are shown if needed. Attendance at both try out sessions is strongly encouraged.

Randolph Soccer Families
 
The Randolph Soccer Club conducted an online survey at the conclusion of the 2009 Fall league season. This was the first such survey conducted by the club, and our goal was to provide all of our soccer families the opportunity to provide feedback on their experiences with the travel soccer program. 
 
In all, we received 183 responses representing 73% of our U8 through U14 players. First and foremost, the Randolph Soccer Club would like to thank everyone who responded. The comments you provided are a valuable source of information and insight to those of us dedicated to managing the Randolph Soccer Club. 
 
The entire Randolph Soccer Club board reviewed the survey results at our first meeting of the new year. We were pleased to see that between 80% and 90% of our soccer families are satisfied with the travel soccer program and intend to continue participating in the club in the future. While this is a good result, the RSC strives for continuous improvement and intends to utilize this feedback to help the club set its goals for 2010 and beyond. With that in mind, the board chartered a subcommittee to review the results in more detail and to take specific actions on the areas for improvement. This process is already underway and will include, where necessary, meeting with team managers, coaches and parents so that together we can enhance the RSC experience.
